Qatar Airways has announced the launch of three weekly non-stop flights to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) starting December 11, 2024. Toronto will be the airline’s 14th destination in the Americas and the second destination in Canada, joining Montréal which has served more than 1.6 million passengers across seven daily flights since its launch.
“The Toronto route is a strong and enduring commitment towards providing Qatar Airways’ Canadian customers with the enhanced connectivity they deserve, as well as access to our world-leading service and Qsuite in-flight product,” stated Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Qatar Airways group CEO.
Qatar Airways will operate the new route using the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which has 42 business class seats and 312 economy seats.
The new Toronto service will provide travelers from Canada and beyond with seamless access to destinations across Qatar Airways’ extensive global network, including Colombo, Bangkok, Delhi, Kathmandu, and Mumbai.
“The addition of a 14th gateway to our Americas network is also a testament to our aim in maintaining a key presence across the local market, and cements our reputation as a reliable global connector,” added Al-Meer.

Qatar Airways currently flies to more than 170 destinations worldwide, connecting through its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport (DOH). The airline continues to expand its global network to provide all passengers with the most luxurious travel experience in the world.
The flight schedule to Toronto includes flights every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday to and from Doha.
