Qatar Airways is gearing up for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2023 with a branded Boeing 777 specially customized for the race. The carrier and official sponsor of the event will be offering an F1 flight experience for passengers traveling on select flights between September 20 and October 10, 2023. The Formula 1 will take place from October 6 to 8 at the Lusail International Circuit.

The airline’s subsidiary Qatar Airways Holidays, is offering special travel packages for F1 fans. According to the airlines, the Qatar Airways’ Ultimate F1 Fan Packages are, “designed to provide a seamless motorsport experience, with the inclusion of return flights, hotel accommodation, a wide range of passes including F1 Paddock Club and Grandstand race tickets, and much more.” Travelers and fans can expect an immersive race experience. Qatar Airways will feature Formula 1 menus with F1-themed desserts.

Expo 2023
Residents of Qatar get to fill up their calendar as the Expo 2023 Doha approaches later this year. The Expo is the first A1 International Horticultural Exhibition in the region. The theme of the event is, “Green Desert, Better Environment,” and aims to combat desertification. The impressive event will run for 179 days, hosting celebrations, talks, conferences, and art shows.
The World Cup last year invited millions of fans and tourists to Qatar. The result was a whopping 8 percent growth of the nation’s GDP by Q4 2022. Tourism, retail, and hospitality were the industries that benefited most.
