On the first day of the Farnborough International Airshow 2024, Qatar Airways group CEO Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer unveiled the new Qsuite Next Gen. The latest Qsuite model brings the airline’s business class to new heights with new and one-of-a-kind features.
The airline announced that the Qsuite Next Gen will be featured on board the Qatar Airways Boeing B777-9 aircraft by 2025.
Qsuite Next Gen’s new features
Qatar Airways’ Qsuite Next Gen now features a movable 4K OLED Panasonic Astrova IFE screens – a first for any airline in the world. The screens can move to the side to create the largest social and productivity space in the sky for up to four passengers in the Quad Suite, and up to two passengers in the Companion Suite. This aims to facilitate a mindful work-life balance which improves the flying experience for all professionals, friends and families.
Qatar Airways has enhanced rest and relaxation on the Qsuite Next Gen with additional space for dining, and better privacy with taller, digitally controlled dividers. In addition, the airline added larger lie-flat and double beds to the new Quad Suite. The suite also offers the 5-star Qatar Airways turn-down service with a ‘Make My Bed’ feature. The airline’s new Companion Suite has similar characteristics to the Quad Suite with a revamp that offers the same shared space in window aisles.
Qatar Airways has adopted new technologies to increase passenger convenience and connectivity. The Qsuite Next Gen will now offer multiple customization options through the passenger control units.
“We are excited to have finally revealed the long-awaited Qsuite Next Gen at the Farnborough International Airshow. Qatar Airways has once again raised the bar for its award-winning product, the Qsuite,” stated Al-Meer.
