The Qatar Central Bank recently issued treasury bills and Islamic sukuk with a total value of QAR 4 billion ($1.1 billion). The treasury bills and Islamic sukuk hold maturities of 7 days, 28 days, 91 days, 182 days, 273 days and 364 days.
In a post on the social media platform X, Qatar Central Bank revealed that it has issued treasury bills worth QAR500 million with a maturity of 7 days with an interest rate of 5.7598 percent.
Moreover, the bank issued treasury bills worth QAR750 million with a maturity of 28 days and an interest rate of 5.7857 percent, and bills worth QAR750 million with a maturity of 91 days and an interest rate of 5.8290 percent. The issuances holding a maturing of 7 days, 28 days, and 91 days are an addition to existing issuances from the central bank.
The Qatar Central Bank also posted new issuances worth QAR750 million with a maturity of 1228 days and an interest rate of 5.8305 percent.

In addition, it issued treasury bills worth QAR750 million for a 273-day term with a 5.7941 percent interest rate, and a QAR500 million issuance with a maturity of 364 days and an interest rate of 5.7429 percent.
The central bank also reported that the total value of bids for the Treasury bills and Islamic bonds reached QAR11 billion ($3.02 billion).
