The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) in the UAE has released a circular that establishes the official working hours for employees of federal authorities during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

According to the circular, the designated working hours for ministries and federal authorities will be as follows: from 9:00 to 14:30, Monday through Thursday, and from 9:00 to 12:00 on Fridays.

FAHR highlighted that ministries and federal authorities have the option to implement flexible working arrangements or remote work schedules during Ramadan, based on their specific needs and within the approved daily working hour limits.
The Authority also stated that federal government departments will allow a maximum of 70 percent of their staff to work from home on Fridays during Ramadan, in accordance with the regulations that have been approved.
On the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, FAHR extended its congratulations to the leadership, citizens, and residents of the UAE.
According to an announcement made by the UAE’s International Astronomy Centre, the sighting of the Shaban crescent moon indicates that the first day of Ramadan is anticipated to occur on March 11 this year.
