Russian businesses view the UAE market as a prospective center for exporting to third countries, establishing local presence, driving collaboration, and engaging in trade with nations in the Middle East and Africa.

During a sectoral business mission organized by the Russian Export Centre (REC) in Dubai on April 24-25, REC Representative in the UAE, Jabbori Najibullah, highlighted the considerable interest of Russian companies in the UAE market, as well as the reciprocal interest from the Emirati side. He noted the participation of representatives and partners from the UAE Ministry of Economy, Masdar, Dubai Internet City, and various commercial entities.

Anton Nazarkin, the International Development director at VisionLabs, expressed their belief that Dubai is the optimal location in the Middle East for establishing an office. VisionLabs had already opened an office in Dubai in 2019. Nazarkin emphasized that the UAE provides excellent logistical and legal practices, making it an ideal business destination.

“We think that government provides a lot of initiatives in terms of registering companies and conducting business from the free zones. We look forward to expanding our presence in the region through the UAE”, he added.

Alexey Khalezov, head of Product at Neiry, stated that the UAE market is highly appealing to them due to their focus on developing innovative products like brain-computer interfaces. They hope to collaborate with local companies and manufacturers.

Ivan Chernikov, product manager from Synera, acknowledged that the UAE presents the best opportunity for expanding their business.
