The 1000 Miglia UAE Experience Jubilee Edition is finally here
The 1000 Miglia UAE Experience Jubilee Edition will be the largest gathering of classic and modern automobiles exceeding a lineup of 100 teams from around the globe. It will be the largest regularity rally ever held in the GCC with a route of 1,600km across all seven Emirates.
The jaw-dropping line-up of participating cars ranges from year 1927 to the present and hails from all over the world including the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Italy, India, Switzerland, and Lebanon.
Some iconic cars to watch out for include the 1927 OM 665 “Superba”– which is a similar model to the car that won the first 1000 Miglia in 1927, 1952 Porsche 356 which competed in the famously grueling South American 1953 Panamericana, and a 1964 Lincoln Continental – bought by the then-Pope for his tour of India in 1964. It was then presented to Mother Teresa to be auctioned off for charity and remains in India to this day. Also in the lineup is the smallest car of the rally, a 1958 Messerschmitt FMR TG 500 Roadster. The total value of the 100 cars exceeds AED 550 million ($150 million).
The UAE Experience Jubilee Edition is the brainchild of Martin Halder, Founder and CEO of Octanium Group. It all came together thanks to the unequivocal support of the Ministry of Interior and the UAE Government Media Office along with Chopard, Gargash Enterprises, Carrera Eyewear, and ADNOC. The iconic race will take place from December 5 to 8.
