The UAE announced today that the government revenues at the federal level across all emirates totaled 305.6 billion dirhams ($83.20 billion) in H1 2022.
In a tweet, the UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) stated that it achieved a financial surplus in government revenues totaling 125.5 billion dirhams ($34 billion) during the first half (H1) of 2022.
According to the ministry, total government expenditures during the same period amounted to 180 billion dirhams ($49 billion).
The increase in state revenues, according to MoF, reflects the country’s leaders’ “sound financial policies and wise strategic decisions,” which aim to “turn the country into a leading financial hub in the world.”
