The UAE Fuel Price Committee approved today the petrol and diesel prices for May 2025. Petrol prices will see a slight increase in May while diesel prices will decline. After a price increase in February, petrol rates saw a slight decrease in March and April.
Effective May 1, petrol prices in the UAE are as follows:
- Diesel: AED2.52 per liter
- Super 98: AED2.58 per liter
- Special 95: AED2.47 per liter
- E-Plus 91: AED2.39 per liter
In April, Super 98 petrol was priced at AED2.57 per liter, Special 95 petrol was at AED2.46 per liter, E-Plus 91 petrol was priced at AED2.38 per liter, and diesel was set at AED2.63 per liter. Since the UAE deregulated petrol prices in 2015 and aligned them with global rates, the rates are revised at the end of every month.
