Global HR platform Deel has published its Annual Global Hiring Report, unveiling that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has emerged as the most favored country for international professionals (workers) seeking employment visas. This development signifies a significant achievement for the UAE, solidifying its status as a prominent global business hub and a magnet for skilled individuals worldwide. Following the UAE, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, and Singapore also ranked high in attracting international talent.

Based on a comprehensive analysis of data and insights derived from hundreds of thousands of global contracts spanning 160 countries, Deel’s latest Global Hiring Report underlines the growing hiring trends observed among companies based in the UAE. Notably, France, the UAE, India, Türkiye, and the United Kingdom (U.K.) emerged as the top destinations for UAE recruiters. This trend underscores the UAE’s dedication to nurturing a diverse and vibrant multinational workforce.
Leading industries attracting international talent
Moreover, the report sheds light on the industries that primarily drive this growth. Financial services, IT and services, computer software, management consulting, and marketing and advertising were identified as the leading sectors enticing international talent to the UAE. Within the UAE economy, the most coveted positions include management consultant, content manager, software engineer, influencer marketing manager, and strategy director, reflecting the dynamic and innovation-oriented nature of the country.

This demand is particularly robust within industries such as computer software, IT and services, financial services, marketing and advertising, and software development. Roles such as software engineer, sales executive, marketing manager, account manager, and full stack developer are particularly sought after.
