Dubai Customs celebrated the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad (National Day) with festivities held at its headquarters in Port Rashid and across various customs centers.
The celebrations, WAM reported, showcased a strong sense of pride and national spirit, commemorating the remarkable achievements of the UAE since its establishment. The event featured a diverse array of activities that captured the essence of unity and fostered national identity, drawing a large crowd of employees and customers.

The festivities included traditional and artistic performances, as well as engaging competitions that highlighted the UAE’s vibrant cultural diversity. Craft workshops were also organized, such as planting the symbolic Ghaf tree and pottery making. Employees were treated to special gifts, including pearls obtained through a traditional oyster opening activity.
Participants contributed to a collaborative art piece that depicted the portraits of the founding fathers, Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid.
