In conjunction with the upcoming National Day, UAE authorities have declared official holidays. Employees of ministries and federal entities will observe the 53rd Eid Al Etihad holiday on December 2 and 3, as stated by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR). Work will recommence on Wednesday, December 4.
Similarly, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has confirmed that the private sector will also enjoy a holiday on December 2 and 3. These announcements are in line with the Cabinet’s decision regarding the officially approved holiday calendar for both government and private sectors in the UAE for 2024, as detailed in a circular distributed to all federal ministries and entities.
