UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently received Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
During the meeting, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, His Excellency conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, along with his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE. In return, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his warm regards and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Tamim and the people of Qatar for further development and prosperity.
Enhancing mutual interests
During the meeting, the UAE President and Qatar’s Prime Minister discussed the strong fraternal ties and cooperation between the two nations, which seeks to serve the interests of both peoples. The discussions also explored ways to enhance mutual interests and reinforce security and stability in the region. The two sides exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of shared concern.
The UAE President and Qatar’s Prime Minister also underscored the importance of intensifying efforts to achieve a ceasefire and de-escalation in the Middle East while preventing the expansion of conflict to safeguard regional security and stability.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince visits Qatar
The meeting between the UAE President and Qatar’s Prime Minister follows a recent visit of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, to Qatar.
During the visit, Sheikh Khaled met with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The talks focused on advancing joint cooperation in strategic sectors of mutual interest. Sheikh Khaled reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Qatar, aiming to elevate cooperation to new heights in key sectors.
