The postal industry has experienced a rapid transformation that encouraged the global postal family to brainstorm on up-to-date services and products in line with business requirements.

In light of the above, the UAE was ranked second globally and first regionally in the category of outstanding performance in international express mail services in 2021, in recognition of the country’s ongoing efforts to promote innovation in postal operations and meet the highest international standards in excellence and quality.

The Emirates Post Group declared this significant achievement in a report produced by the Universal Postal Union (UPU), a United Nations specialized institution that serves as the primary venue for cooperation among the postal sector’s most prominent leaders.

The UAE also came in second place in the category of the best performance for international express mail services, behind El Salvador, which took first place, and ahead of Vietnam, Ukraine, and Qatar, which rounded out the top five.

The UAE and other Union member states participated in the evaluation, which included 16 key performance indicators such as the percentage of delivery date compliance, the performance indicator for on-time delivery, the quality of customer service response, the export punctuality performance index, the performance indicator for adherence to transport dates.

Additionally, the UAE was ranked third in the world in the category of customer service in international express mail services.

Furthermore, the UAE was awarded an advanced position in the category of customer service due to the country’s outstanding performance in several indicators, the most notable of which is the speed and effectiveness with which it responds to incoming customer inquiries, as well as its continued innovation in terms of solutions and processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
