UAE refutes claims of lifetime Golden Visa for certain nationalities
All Golden Visa applications must go through official UAE government channels, not external entities, the ICP noted.

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) in the UAE has refuted the accuracy of rumors disseminated by various local and international media outlets regarding the United Arab Emirates offering lifetime Golden Visas to specific nationalities.

ICP clarified that the categories, conditions, and regulations surrounding the Golden Visa are explicitly defined in line with official laws, legislations, and ministerial decisions. Interested individuals can access official information through the Authority’s website or smart application.

It emphasised that all Golden Visa applications are processed exclusively through official government channels within the UAE, and that no internal or external consultancy entity is recognized as an authorized party in the application process.

The Authority recently noted news articles from a consultancy office located in another country, claiming that lifetime Golden Visas could be acquired for all categories from outside the UAE via consulting or commercial entities under simplified conditions. These assertions lack legal foundation and were made without coordination with the relevant authorities in the UAE.

It reaffirmed its dedication to providing a safe and transparent environment for applicants, continuously enhancing its services solely through official digital platforms.

Legal action against false information

Additionally, it stated that legal action will be pursued against entities disseminating such false information in an effort to illegally obtain money from individuals wishing to live and reside in the UAE, taking advantage of their aspirations for a dignified and secure life.

It urged all individuals seeking to visit, live, or invest in the UAE to disregard inaccurate rumors and false news aimed at quick profit. They should refrain from paying any fees or submitting personal documents to parties claiming to provide these services.

The Authority strongly advised everyone to consistently consult official sources to verify the accuracy of procedures—either through the Authority’s official website or by contacting the call center at 600522222, available 24/7, before taking any action.
