The UAE is poised to host a lineup of international events throughout September, reinforcing its status as a premier global center for business, tourism, and innovation across various sectors.

Global Aerospace Summit

Abu Dhabi will host on September 25-26, 2024 the 7th Global Aerospace Summit at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort. This event, WAM reported, will draw leaders from the aviation, aerospace, and defense industries, with the goal of driving investments that enhance sustainability, engage youth, and foster innovation.

World Utilities Congress

From September 16-18, 2024, the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi will host the 3rd World Utilities Congress, organized by the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA). This congress is anticipated to draw more than 12,000 professionals and international experts from the electricity and water utilities sectors. It will feature 110 interactive sessions, over 280 speakers, 18 energy ministers, and 1,400 delegates, alongside various specialized events.

World Congress on Rehabilitation

Abu Dhabi will also be hosting the World Congress on Rehabilitation (WCR) 2024 for the first time in the Middle East, scheduled for September 23-25, 2024. This event will gather leaders, officials, service providers, government bodies, academics, and researchers from 100 countries, all focused on enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

WANO Biennial General Meeting

In another milestone, the UAE will host the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) Biennial General Meeting in Abu Dhabi from September 28-30, 2024. This gathering underscores the UAE’s role as a global leader in the development of peaceful nuclear energy, adhering to the highest standards of safety, security, quality, and non-proliferation.

Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition

The 21st Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) will showcase thousands of brands across 11 sectors, opening tomorrow and running until September 8. This exhibition will serve as a platform that merges traditional Emirati culture with cutting-edge technology.

Dubai AI & Web3 Festival

According to WAM, the Dubai International Financial Centre will host the inaugural Dubai AI & Web3 Festival on September 11-12 at Madinat Jumeirah. Expected to attract over 100 exhibitors and more than 5,000 participants, including industry leaders and innovators, the festival will focus on discussions surrounding the future of AI and Web3 technologies.

ITS World Congress

From September 16-20, Dubai will further host the 30th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS World Congress), anticipating around 20,000 participants and 800 speakers. Key themes will include innovations in intelligent transport, sustainable mobility, smart city integration, data-driven decision-making, autonomous vehicles, and international cooperation in these areas.

Annual International Conference and Exhibition

Dubai will also welcome representatives from over 100 countries, along with more than 2,000 business leaders and free zone officials, for the 10th Annual International Conference and Exhibition (AICE) of the World Free Zones Organisation, set for September 23-25.

Binos Classic Bodybuilding Championship

Additionally, the second Binos Classic Bodybuilding Championship will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on September 7-8, featuring 700 athletes competing for a prize pool of AED1.2 million, the largest of its kind in the world.

International Government Communication Forum

Moreover, in Sharjah, the 13th International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2024) is scheduled for September 4-5. This key event, organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, will convene senior officials, decision-makers, specialists, and researchers to discuss the role of innovative government communication in fostering resilient policies across social, economic, cultural, and tourism sectors.

Sharjah Investment Forum

Finally, the 7th Sharjah Investment Forum will be held on September 18-19, themed “A Futuristic Vision for Smart Economies,” featuring over 80 distinguished speakers, including ministers, government officials, business leaders, and global investors.
