The UAE will join the global community tomorrow in commemorating World Environment Day, which this year is observed under the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution.”
The UAE’s involvement underscores its call for unified international action to tackle plastic waste, while promoting resource efficiency, safeguarding biodiversity, and driving a transition towards a circular economy and sustainable development.
