Women investors in UAE’s real estate generated $16 billion to the property sector, according to the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
The number of women investors surged around 51% in 2022 compared to 2021.
There was a total of 26,698 female investors who registered 33,419 real estate investments in 2022.

This represents a growth of 50.7 percent in volume and 53 percent in value from 2021.
A recent government report also stated that women currently own 30% of the property in Dubai. The real estate sector accounts for 40% of women’s investments, but it is not the only asset class for them. They are also diversifying their investments across stocks, bonds, real estate, and alternative investments.
Technology has also emerged as a prominent sector, with a substantial 30% share of investments.
Women are set to play a key role in achieving the objective of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. D33 aims to double the size of the emirate’s economy by 2033.
Annual real estate transactions in Dubai witnessed 122,658 real estate transactions in 2022, valued at AED528 bn.
