Global air and travel services provider dnata (Dubai National Air Travel Agency) has secured a multi-year contract with Royal Jordanian Airlines at JFK in New York. 

Comprehensive services for passengers

Under this agreement, dnata will deliver its comprehensive suite of safe and dependable passenger, ramp, and baggage services to the Jordanian flag carrier, which operates daily flights between John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal Eight and Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) in Amman. dnata’s committed team is poised to elevate the travel experience for around 125,000 passengers on Royal Jordanian’s 360 flights each year, as per the statement.

Building on existing partnerships

This contract builds on the existing collaboration between the two organizations in the USA, where dnata has been providing a full range of ground handling services to the airline in Detroit (DTW) since 2019. 

Moreover, David Barker, dnata’s Regional CEO of Airport Operations for the Americas, expressed pride in the expansion of their strong relationship with Royal Jordanian Airlines into New York. He further mentioned that the experienced team is eager to contribute to the airline’s success by delivering their top-tier services.

Operations at JFK

At JFK, dnata operates from Terminals One and Four, serving over 30 airlines with a workforce of 1,100 dedicated aviation professionals who manage more than 21,000 flights each year. Including Royal Jordanian Airlines, dnata offers a variety of ground handling, logistics, and cargo services to over 70 airline clients across the USA, supported by a team of 3,300 customer-focused employees. In the financial year 2023-24, dnata facilitated the turnaround of over 60,000 flights in the USA, catering to more than 18 million passengers and handling 200,000 tons of cargo.
