UAE’s GPSSA announces over $218.6 million in pension payments for November 2024

Pension payments are set to be distributed tomorrow, Wednesday, November 27, to a total of 49,067 pensioners and beneficiaries.

The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) in the UAE has announced that the total amount allocated for pension payments in November 2024 is AED803,536,358.33 ($218.6 million). This figure, WAM reported, represents an increase of AED54,484,166 compared to November 2023, during which pension payments totaled AED749,052,192.81.

Pension payments are set to be distributed tomorrow, Wednesday, November 27, to a total of 49,067 pensioners and beneficiaries. This marks an increase of 1,681 recipients compared to November 2023, when the total was 47,386.

The expenses cover civilians who fall under the regulations that the GPSSA is tasked with administering, as well as eligible members whose files are managed by the GPSSA on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, in accordance with the relevant pension legislation.
