The UAE mall operator Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) has celebrated the appointment of more than 700 UAE nationals since September 2021, as part of its initiative to hire 3,000 UAE nationals by the end of 2026. These results have exceeded the targets set by MAF for hiring 600 UAE nationals over the last year.

This is part of the company’s efforts to contribute to the implementation of the “50 projects” and to achieve the goals of the “Nafis” program, which was launched by the federal government in collaboration with private sector institutions to increase the competitiveness of national cadres and enable them to occupy distinguished jobs in the country’s private sector institutions.

Since launching the initiative in 2021, Mahid Al Futtaim has received over 6,000 job applications, which reflects the desire of job seekers to join MAF for work.

“We proudly seek to contribute to the realization of the UAE’s vision for the future of its people. This is reflected in the company doubling its Emirati workforce to 6 percent of total MAF employees in the UAE this year,” said Alain Bejjani, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Holding Company, on this occasion.
