The UAE is predicted to face variable weather conditions until Thursday, December 26, due to the influence of a surface low-pressure system extending from the Southeast, as reported by the UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
This surface low-pressure system will interact with an upper air low-pressure system, which is accompanied by a cold air mass and strong upper-air winds originating from the West. This dynamic is likely to promote cloud formation across various regions of the country, with the possibility of convective activity at certain times.

Partly cloudy to overcast skies are expected, with intermittent rainfall possible in some coastal areas, islands, and the Northern and Eastern regions.
Initially, light to moderate southeasterly winds are anticipated, gradually transitioning to northeasterly and northwesterly winds. At times, wind speeds may increase, potentially leading to blowing dust and sand over land areas.
The forecast for the sea indicates slight to moderate conditions, with the potential for rougher seas at times, particularly in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, especially in regions experiencing active cloud cover.
