Lebanon-based broadcaster MTV announced on Thursday sources telling the station that a solution to the issue of granting UAE entry visas to the Lebanese will begin starting today, Friday.
Reuters also confirmed the same but said the UAE will, in the coming days, lift a temporary restriction on issuing visas to Lebanese nationals due to security concerns, quoting a UAE official telling it yesterday.

Where did the issue of UAE visa to Lebanese arise?
This came following recent complaints by Lebanese citizens that UAE visas were not being granted to them.
Two travel agents in Lebanon told Reuters that requests for UAE visas to Lebanon nationals via online applications were declined without receiving any new instructions or changes to entry requirements.
A helpline for Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs on Thursday said nationals from Lebanon living outside of the UAE would temporarily not be granted visas on the instruction of the Interior Ministry.
