Only holders of the digital Hayya card, in addition to citizens and residents, will be allowed to enter Qatar during the World Cup FIFA World Cup 2022, which will be hosted by the Gulf state between November 21 and January 18, 2022, organizers announced at a press conference in Doha.
Each person residing in Qatar can receive up to 10 relatives and friends by registering their data on Hayya, the official residence platform for international and local fans wishing to visit Qatar during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Meanwhile, the guest must put the host’s data on the Hayya digital platform to obtain it directly.
Last Thursday, the mandatory Hayya Card has been digitalized and it will serve as the gateway permit for all citizens, residents, and fans from abroad.
The card will also provide free access to public transportation services – including metro, bus, and taxis.
The number of registered users on the platform is constantly being updated, revealing that the platform received 3,000 requests on its launch day.
The average price of accommodation ranged from $80 to $180 depending on its location and the type of accommodation.
