His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi is a member of the Federal Supreme Council and the Ruler of Sharjah. His Highness grew up with deep-rooted love of his nation and its history. He has always maintained a special passion for education and knowledge. His early education was in Sharjah, Kuwait and Egypt. Soon after the birth of the United Arab Emirates on December 2, 1971, the ministers’ council was formed and His Highness was named as the UAE Minister of Education.
