Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is Crown Prince of Dubai, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE. On February 1, 2008, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, appointed his son Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as Crown Prince of Dubai. The crown prince is well known as ‘Fazza’.
