The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has recorded a 4.9 percent increase in its membership base, reaching a total of 157,207 companies between September 2024 and June 2025.

The growth underscores the Chamber’s expanding role in supporting business development and fostering a competitive economic environment in the emirate.

Capitalizing on growth

Since September 2024, the Chamber has organized 69 business events in cooperation with government entities, hosted 70 trade and diplomatic delegations, and signed 25 partnership agreements.

It also took part in 11 outbound delegations and marked a milestone in its international strategy with the opening of its first overseas representative office in Poland, further advancing Abu Dhabi’s global economic outreach.

The Chamber’s momentum aligns with Abu Dhabi’s broader economic performance. In the first quarter of 2025, the emirate’s GDP reached AED 291 billion, marking a 3.4 percent year-on-year increase.

Notably, non-oil sectors grew by 6.1 percent, comprising 56.2 percent of total GDP — an indicator of the success of the emirate’s diversification efforts.

Leadership

His Excellency Shamis Ali Al Dhaheri, second vice chairman and managing director of ADCCI, said: “Abu Dhabi’s economic strength is reflected in the number of new members, and we believe strong partnerships between the public and private sectors will continue to produce success. The rise in memberships highlights the Chamber’s strategic role as a key partner in economic development and a driver of competitiveness and sustainable growth. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the business community, sharing its ambitions and providing the tools and resources to compete on the global stage.”

HE Al Dhaheri emphasized the importance of media in highlighting the private sector’s role and amplifying success stories that reflect Abu Dhabi’s transformation into a global business and investment hub.

The role of the private sector

Private sector activity remains central to this trajectory, with major contributions to high-growth sectors such as manufacturing, construction, finance, real estate, and trade. ADCCI continues to reinforce its support for businesses through improved services and direct engagement with industry stakeholders.

Customer satisfaction

Between September 2024 and June 2025, the Chamber achieved a 90.23 percent customer satisfaction rating on the TAMM platform and responded to over 18,900 inquiries via its call center, demonstrating high responsiveness and service quality.

To address sector-specific challenges and support regulatory development, the Chamber has established 15 working groups composed of business leaders. These groups work collaboratively to develop practical solutions across key industries.

Knowledge sharing

In its knowledge-sharing efforts, ADCCI published 364 economic reports to aid decision-making and conducted 10 workshops attended by over 1,000 private sector participants, focusing on legal frameworks and commercial opportunities.

Driven by quality and innovation

Recognizing excellence in business, the Chamber awarded seven companies the prestigious Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award for their achievements in quality and innovation.

ADCCI’s initiatives support the objectives of Abu Dhabi’s Falcon Economy and align with national priorities, particularly in fostering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), exporters, and investors. Its 2025–2028 strategic roadmap, developed with input from the private sector, aims to deliver market insights, boost investment accessibility, and enhance capacity building — paving the way for sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the emirate.
