UAE and Kazakhstan's partnership has played a key role in enabling conversation and collaboration on numerous fronts, strengthening their bilateral ties.

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, is scheduled to commence an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan on Sunday, at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

This visit is of considerable importance as it seeks to reinforce the enduring bonds between the two countries and to investigate fresh opportunities for bilateral collaboration, with a particular emphasis on the areas of trade and economic advancement.

The UAE and Kazakhstan have cultivated a strong partnership that is defined by shared interests across a range of industries. The forthcoming discussions during the Crown Prince’s visit are anticipated to center on investment opportunities, with leaders exploring methods to increase investments in crucial sectors including energy, transport, logistics, and technology. During a January 2025 meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President Tokayev noted the UAE’s position as one of the top ten largest foreign investors in Kazakhstan, with direct investments having increased significantly compared to the previous year.

Furthermore, during earlier discussions, the two nations established ambitious goals to elevate their trade turnover to $1 billion, which demonstrates a dedication to encouraging economic connections and fostering a favorable trade dynamic between the nations.

The discussions are also expected to encompass the execution of strategic investment projects that have been detailed in prior agreements. These projects are designed to capitalize on the strengths of both countries in order to attain long-term economic expansion.
