AD Ports Group, a leading global trade, logistics, and industry enabler, has officially inaugurated its first international office in China, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy and strengthening its footprint in Asia.
Strategically located in Beijing, at the heart of China’s policymaking and planning, the new office will lead and coordinate the group’s commercial and investment operations across China and the wider Asia region.
This move complements AD Ports Group’s global network of more than 140 offices and deepens its strategic engagement in one of the world’s most dynamic logistics markets.
The Beijing office was formally opened by Samir Chaturvedi, chief international business officer at AD Ports Group and CEO of Noatum Logistics; Abdulaziz Zayed Al-Shamsi, regional CEO at AD Ports Group; and Ellie Hioe, general manager of Noatum Logistics – Greater China.

Strengthening strategic partnerships and trade connectivity
The new office enables AD Ports Group to enhance collaboration with key Chinese government stakeholders, strategic partners, clients, and investors. It is positioned to support China’s development priorities and to respond rapidly to emerging opportunities in trade, logistics, and investment.
In parallel, Noatum Logistics — the group’s logistics arm — will operate a new commercial branch from the same location, focused on the Beijing-Tianjin region. This critical domestic market, home to over 110 million people, is a vital hub for trade, manufacturing, and supply chain activity.
The office will also be instrumental in advancing the group’s strategic role in China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). This includes maritime trade routes linking Asia, Africa, and Europe, as well as overland corridors connecting markets from China through Central Asia and the Middle East into Europe.

Facilitating trade, investment, and logistics innovation
Beyond trade facilitation, the China office will serve as a vital bridge connecting Chinese clients and investors to AD Ports Group’s integrated global trade and logistics ecosystem. It will support coordination of investment flows, the formation of new business ventures, and increased capital inflows from China into the UAE.
As part of its growth strategy in China, AD Ports Group is set to expand the in-country capabilities of Noatum Logistics to deliver a comprehensive range of end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to the specific needs of China’s fast-evolving domestic market.
China’s GDP is forecasted to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.5 percent through 2030, further highlighting the strategic importance of this expansion.
With China’s logistics market projected to grow at a CAGR of 4.6 percent through 2030, AD Ports Group aims to become a key logistics player across the country, providing support across every segment of the supply chain and serving a wide range of industry sectors.
The launch of the China office underscores AD Ports Group’s commitment to global connectivity, innovation, and strategic investment, positioning the company as a key partner in China’s ongoing trade and infrastructure development efforts.
