Bahrain’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew 5.5 percent year on year (YOY) at constant prices in Q1 2022, the state news agency reported on Monday citing the country’s cabinet meeting that discussed the Q1 economic report issued by the Ministry of Finance.

The non-oil economy recorded a growth of 7.8 percent in the same period.

Bahrain’s economy grew by 4.29 percent in the fourth quarter of 2021 and by about 2.2 percent overall last year.
