Chopard, in collaboration with its partner Trafalgar, revealed the latest Alpine Eagle Golden Iris model, crafted exclusively for the Kuwaiti market. The launch event took place at the newly renovated Chopard boutique in the Salhia Complex, and was co-hosted by the Kuwait Watch Club Timekeeper in an intimate setting.

A new colour is making its debut on the dial of the watches in the Alpine Eagle collection: like Aletsch Blue, Bernina Grey or Absolute Black, “Golden Iris” is inspired by natural landscapes.

While the dials in the Alpine Eagle collection usually refer to the Alps, those adorning this special edition are inspired by the warm hues bathing desert sands in a golden glow.

The dial features a gradient involving subtle colour tones becoming darker around the edges and reflecting the light and shade effects of the sunlight playing over the desert landscape at different times of day.

Responsibly crafted in Lucent Steel

Since the Alpine Eagle‘s debut in 2019, Chopard has been committed to using responsibly sourced materials.

This new model is crafted entirely from Lucent Steel – an alloy that is at least 80 percent recycled.

Highly durable and hypoallergenic, Lucent Steel is 50 percent more resistant to abrasion than conventional steel. Its unique crystalline structure also gives it a distinctive shimmering effect.

Chronometer-certified precision

Chopard’s commitment to certified precision is upheld by the 01.15-C self-winding movement at the heart of the Alpine Eagle Summit. This movement, developed in Chopard’s own watchmaking workshops, is certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). The “Chronometer” label embossed on the dial is a testament to this movement’s precision and excellence.

When fully wound, the 01.15-C movement provides a 60-hour power reserve. Watchmakers have also equipped it with a stop-seconds function, allowing the wearer to set the time to the exact second. This further demonstrates Chopard’s pursuit of the highest standards of precision.

The 01.15-C movement is visible through the Alpine Eagle Summit’s transparent sapphire crystal caseback. This allows the owner to appreciate the craftsmanship within.
