The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, operating under Dubai Chambers, has successfully hosted the latest edition of its ‘In Focus’ session, equipping Dubai-based companies with critical insights into trade and investment opportunities in Armenia, Georgia, Malaysia, and Cambodia.
Held in the presence of high-ranking diplomats and business leaders, the session drew over 160 participants and provided a platform to explore market entry strategies, investment climates, and sustainable growth prospects in the four target countries.

High-level diplomatic engagement
The event was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including H.E. engineer Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, chairman of Dubai Chambers; Giorgi Janjgava, ambassador of Georgia to the UAE; Sman Manan, ambassador of Cambodia to Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, and Bahrain; Mohamed Fadly Amri Aliaman, consul general of Malaysia in Dubai; Artak Avetisyan, consul general of Armenia in Dubai; and H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, president and CEO of Dubai Chambers.
Their participation underscored the growing interest in fostering stronger economic ties between Dubai and these emerging markets.
Spotlight on international expansion
The session featured a detailed presentation on Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s strategic support for the global expansion of Dubai-based businesses. Key focus areas included:
- Sector-specific opportunities in Armenia, Georgia, Malaysia, and Cambodia
- Steps for market entry and regulatory insights
- Forming partnerships and joint ventures to accelerate growth
A dynamic panel discussion followed, offering country-specific overviews and practical guidance on how companies can navigate local business environments.
