Under the summer sun of Maranello, Ferrari unveiled its latest masterpiece: The Ferrari Amalfi — a striking 2+ coupé that gracefully steps into the shoes of the much-loved Roma. Named after Italy’s legendary coastal destination, the Amalfi isn’t just another addition to Ferrari’s stable — it’s a refined expression of the Prancing Horse’s vision of modern sportiness, merging exhilarating performance with everyday versatility.

Minimalist approach

From the first glance, the Amalfi exudes movement, even at rest. Its sculpted surfaces and clean volumes mark a shift towards minimalist elegance. Up front, a wide, purposeful air intake frames the lower grille, while a long, finely etched bonnet hides the heart of the beast — a 640 cv twin-turbo V8. The rear is no less dramatic: Carbon-fiber details, forged wheels, and an active rear spoiler ensure the car’s aesthetics match its aerodynamic intentions.

Supreme interiors

Inside, the dual-cockpit design wraps both driver and passenger in a high-tech, luxurious environment. Ferrari brings back the physical start button, now sitting proudly on a reimagined steering wheel that combines tradition with tactile functionality. A central touchscreen and a 15.6” digital instrument cluster deliver seamless interaction, while an 8.8” passenger display brings co-drivers into the action with real-time feedback on performance.

Yet, the Amalfi isn’t just about speed. With a practical 2+ layout and increased boot space, it’s built for more than solo drives on twisty roads. Whether it’s weekend getaways or school runs with children, this Ferrari offers usability to match its style.

World-class performance

Beneath its sculpted bonnet lies Ferrari’s latest evolution of the award-winning F154 twin turbo V8. Refined with advanced turbocharging management and precision calibration, it unleashes a peak 640 cv at 7,500 rpm and 760 Nm of torque between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm. Specific power output stands at a staggering 166 cv per liter.

With a flat-plane crankshaft, twin-scroll turbos, and a lightweight engine block, throttle response is immediate, and the power curve is relentlessly progressive. Paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission borrowed and further refined from the SF90 Stradale, gear changes are crisp, fast, and buttery smooth.

From standstill, the Amalfi rockets to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and hits 200 km/h in just 9 seconds. With a dry weight of 1,470 kg and a perfect 50:50 weight distribution, the car delivers razor-sharp agility and stunning balance.

Control systems like no other

Driving dynamics are a step ahead thanks to the latest in Ferrari’s control systems. The new brake-by-wire system reduces pedal travel while boosting modulation and responsiveness. An enhanced ABS Evo controller, integrated with the 6D sensor suite, ensures optimal braking across various surfaces, contributing to precise stopping distances and improved handling in all conditions.

Under the SSC 6.1 framework — Ferrari’s dynamic control brain — every system from torque management to active aerodynamics works in concert to ensure peak performance and driver confidence. The steering, too, benefits from faster and more precise grip estimation, using data from electric power assistance and yaw sensors for razor-sharp response, even when traction is limited.

Perhaps the most visually subtle but functionally vital system is the active rear spoiler. Depending on speed and driving inputs, it adjusts between Low Drag, Medium Downforce, and High Downforce configurations, increasing rear stability during high-speed braking and cornering. At 250 km/h, the spoiler can add up to 110 kg of downforce with minimal drag penalty, maintaining the car’s clean design and aerodynamic performance.

Inside the cabin, luxury and innovation coexist harmoniously. Premium materials such as anodized aluminum, carbon fiber, and perforated metals set the tone, while optional massage seats, available in three sizes, add comfort for longer journeys.

A Burmester® premium audio system featuring 14 speakers and 1,200 watts of power transforms the Amalfi into a concert hall on wheels, while Ferrari’s new HMI architecture ensures seamless interaction.

On the new steering wheel, physical controls are ergonomically arranged, with two rotaries on the rear to control audio. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® come standard, along with a wireless smartphone charger and MyFerrari Connect app for remote monitoring.

Aerodynamic design

The aerodynamic story of the Amalfi is a masterpiece of functional art. Extensive wind tunnel testing led to features like underbody vortex generators, front splitters with dual diffusers, and a bypass duct above the headlights to relieve pressure and aid cooling. The result is a stable form that cuts through air with purpose.

Tires, developed in partnership with Bridgestone and Pirelli, have been tuned for precision, comfort, and grip. The 245/35 R20 front and 285/35 R20 rear configuration delivers confidence in corners without compromising ride quality.

And for peace of mind, Ferrari offers its 7-year Genuine Maintenance Program, covering all regular servicing and ensuring the Amalfi remains in peak condition throughout its life — whether new or pre-owned.

A legacy in the making

In the Ferrari Amalfi, the brand has crafted more than a grand tourer. It’s a car that blends emotion, functionality, and style into a compelling new chapter in Ferrari’s legacy. Whether carving mountain roads or gliding through the city, the Amalfi makes no compromises — just like the breathtaking coastline that inspired its name.
