Saudi Arabia’s flynas, a leading low-cost airline in the Middle East, has taken delivery of the 53rd new aircraft from its order for 120 A320neo aircraft from Airbus. This order is part of the airline’s strategic plan launched under the title ‘We Connect the World to the Kingdom’.

Moreover, it falls in line with Saudi Arabia’s National Civil Aviation Strategy, which aims to connect the Kingdom with 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers, and host 100 million tourists annually by 2030.

flynas’s 53rd A320neo aircraft landed at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, marking a total of six aircraft delivered this year until July 2024. This has contributed to consolidating flynas position as the leading low-cost airline in the Middle East, and one of the top four low-cost airlines in the world, according to Skytrax.

In addition to upscaling the flynas fleet, the expansion has contributed to generating hundreds of jobs in the aviation sector directly and indirectly. Notably, flynas recently announced the opening of applications in several programs, including the Future Pilots Program, Future Engineers Program, and the Cabin Crew Program for Saudi men and women.

By adding more A320neo aircraft to its fleet, flynas reinforces its position as the leading low-cost airline and its commitment to sustainability and environmental protection since the A320neo is among the most advanced, environmentally friendly, and fuel-efficient single-aisle aircraft worldwide.
