flynas signs agreement with France-based Safran to enhance aircraft seats for A320neo

Saudi air carrier flynas has announced the signing of a significant agreement with Safran, a France-based manufacturer of aircraft seats. This partnership aims to equip flynas’ new Airbus A320neo aircraft with the latest-generation seats, setting new standards for comfort in low-cost aviation.

The agreement was formalized during flynas’ participation in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, held in Dubai from April 28 to May 1. The event saw the presence of flynas Chairman Ayed Al Jeaid, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Bander Almohanna, and Safran Seats France Executive Vice President Quentin Munier.

New seats designed for enhanced passenger comfort

The agreement, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, aims to equip flynas’ cabins with new seats specifically designed for the airline. This includes the installation of economy-class seats featuring distinctive attributes, smart cushion designs, and cutting-edge technologies to enhance passenger comfort. Since flynas operates A320neo aircraft on flights of up to six hours, the new seats are ideally suited for medium- and long-haul journeys.
