7X has entered into a partnership agreement with Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE), becoming a verified whitelisted entity on the ‘Wayn’ platform, the UAE’s Digital P.O. Box.
This collaboration underscores the commitment of both organizations to deliver efficient and secure services for handling correspondence and invoices, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.
The agreement was formalized by Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of 7X, and Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, CEO of EtihadWE, at 7X’s booth during Gitex Global 2024, with representatives from both organizations in attendance.
Secure digital communication
The ‘Wayn’ platform will facilitate secure and reliable digital communication for EtihadWE’s clients while safeguarding their personal and sensitive information. It will also enable EtihadWE to process and settle invoices and transactions online in a safe and convenient manner.

Alashram emphasized that the partnership with EtihadWE strengthens their ongoing efforts to enhance the UAE’s digital landscape. He stated their dedication to providing innovative solutions that drive digital progress across all their services, aligning with the government’s digital strategy. He noted that through the ‘Wayn’ digital P.O. Box platform, they aim to empower individuals and businesses to receive verified correspondence and manage their documents and parcels effortlessly. He also highlighted that their platform employs cutting-edge encryption technologies to ensure maximum data protection for users amid increasing threats of online fraud and phishing worldwide.

Al Ali expressed that the collaboration with 7X through the ‘Wayn’ platform reflects their leadership’s vision for digital transformation in the UAE. He mentioned that it aligns with EtihadWE’s mission to deliver a secure and seamless digital experience to their clients. He pointed out that ‘Wayn’ is the first platform of its kind in the UAE, designed to provide a secure and encrypted communication network through a permanent digital UAE address linked to users’ physical locations. He also noted that it protects users from cyber threats while offering reliable invoice and payment management, along with additional features like archiving and document and parcel management.
