At the conclusion of today’s Global Health Exhibition, a notable milestone was reached with the signing of 92 agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs). These agreements are dedicated to advancing healthy lifestyles and enabling access to transformative objectives across different sectors of the Kingdom’s healthcare industry. They also seek to foster investment opportunities in technology, research, innovation, and digital solutions to elevate the quality and effectiveness of services. Furthermore, the MoUs underscored a significant focus on bolstering medical education and training programs, with investments being made in knowledge, education, training, and logistical support to cultivate a skilled and capable workforce.

The agreements involve government agencies, universities, and both local and international companies. The aim is to diversify collaborations and foster investments in the healthcare sector, while staying updated on medical innovations and technologies that contribute to advancing public health. These endeavors align with the objectives of Vision 2030 and the sector transformation program, working towards achieving transformative goals in the healthcare system.

AI and biotechnology

The Global Health Exhibition further witnesses the Saudi Ministry of Health (MoH) entering into multiple notable agreements and MoUs. These deals focus on showcasing the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in managing population health data and within the healthcare sector. Additionally, there is collaboration in the areas of digitization and biotechnology. The ministry also signed contracts for the establishment and operation of a state-of-the-art laboratory system that will electronically manage and connect central laboratories and pathology laboratories across the country. This unified central system will facilitate a wide range of medical, public health, and toxicological analyses, providing assistance to staff and healthcare providers in related institutions and hospitals.

Invest in health

Under the slogan “Invest in Health”, the Global Health Exhibition was held at the Roshn Front Exhibition and Convention Center (RFECC). It is the premier healthcare gathering of the year. Now in its sixth edition, this event serves as a platform to showcase the latest advancements and techniques in the medical and healthcare fields. It encompasses a range of specialized programs and workshops, including 30 interactive sessions. Over 100 speaker comprising specialists and experts, shared their insights. The event was attended by officials, CEOs of major companies in the sector. This year’s edition drew the participation of 300 local and international companies specializing in various healthcare domains.
