Human Mobile Devices (HMD), the smartphone manufacturer in Europe and the creators of Nokia phones, has officially introduced HMD Skyline 5G mobile phone in the UAE and Middle East markets. The device is now on sale in stores, promising consumers a groundbreaking smartphone experience.

Once known simply as HMD, the company rebranded itself as Human Mobile Devices at the start of 2024. This rebranding was accompanied by an exciting new partnership strategy, teaming up with a vibrant array of global lifestyle brands to launch a unique collection of customized phones. Human Mobile Devices is also focused on enhancing its industry-leading initiatives in self-repairability and digital detox technology, reinforcing its commitment to innovation.

Collaboration with FC Barcelona

Reinforcing its ambitious global marketing strategy, HMD recently secured a significant partnership with FC Barcelona, becoming the club’s Official Mobile Phone Partner. According to a statement, this strategic alliance will bolster HMD’s presence in the international market while aligning with one of the most renowned football clubs worldwide. The collaboration is set to deliver exciting opportunities, including exclusive offers, promotions, and co-branded experiences aimed at engaging FC Barcelona’s vast fanbase.

Sanmeet Singh Kochhar, vice president of HMD for the AMEA Region, expressed enthusiasm about the launch of the HMD Skyline, believing it would transform the mobile landscape in the Middle East. He noted that the device is tailored for Gen Z, combining cutting-edge technology, sustainable design, and effortless repairability, making it an ideal choice for young, tech-savvy consumers.
