The Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) announced that it attracted 106.1 million dinars ($346.7 million) in new direct investments during the fiscal year (2021/2022), bringing its total cumulative investments to approximately 1.309 billion dinars ($4.27 billion) between January 2015 and March 2022.

The authority added in a statement issued on Monday that the majority of these investments made by 67 investment entities from 25 different countries are focused on services such as information systems, oil and gas, construction, health and environment, aviation, and insurance.
