Saudi Arabia has revealed the upgraded version of the Logisti 2 platform during the LEAP 2024 conference and exhibition, signaling a significant leap forward in the country’s logistics sector. During the event, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser, minister of transport and logistics, introduced the platform, which aims to streamline logistical services and accelerate business operations.
Enhanced logistical services
The Logisti 2 platform offers over 140 logistical services, designed to improve the investor experience and simplify access to logistical services through a single portal. By applying best international practices in the logistics sector, the platform seeks to enhance the work environment, accelerate business processes, and elevate operational efficiency.
The Logisti 2 platform aims to save time and effort by providing easy and secure electronic services. In addition, it seeks to unite all logistical services in one platform with the aim of simplifying access. Moreover, Logisti 2 seeks to enhance Saudi Arabia’s position on the World Bank’s Logistic Performance Index (LPI). Finally, it aims to achieve integration, provide the highest levels of quality, and facilitate coordination with all relevant parties.
Al Jasser also launched the Ports Community System (PCS), which will provide more than 250 electronic services in Saudi Arabia’s ports. This initiative aims to bolster growth and increase operational efficiency in Saudi ports, aligning with the goals of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Agreements and collaborations
In addition to launching the Logisti 2 platform, minister Al Jasser sponsored four agreements for Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR). These agreements include partnerships with companies such as Devoteam, Saudi Technology and Security Comprehensive Control Company (Tahakom), Talgani Car Rental Company, Accenture, and TAWAL Company. These collaborations focus on digital transformation, improving operational safety, enhancing customer experience, and upgrading urban infrastructure.
