Riyadh is set to become a global technological innovation hub as it gears up to host the third edition of LEAP from March 4 to 7, 2024. With an impressive lineup of industry leaders and experts, this year’s event promises to discuss cutting-edge topics under the theme “Into New Worlds”, offering attendees a glimpse into the future of technology.

LEAP’s agenda

One of the most prominent features of LEAP 2024 is its comprehensive agenda. It covers a wide array of topics across multiple stages including Web 3, unicorns, tech giant strategies, and user privacy. Hence, the event promises something for everyone.

Topics such as EduTech, RetailTech, FinTech, HealthTech, 4IR, Future Energy, and Smart Cities will offer deep dives into specific sectors. Moreover, they will highlight the transformative potential of technology across various industries.

Organizers and partners

This year’s edition of LEAP features expert speakers such as IBM Chairman Arvind Krishna and HPE CEO Antonio Neri. Moreover, Zoom Video Communications CEO Eric Yuan will also participate.

The organizers of LEAP 2024 include the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, Tahaluf, and the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at). These organizations have collaborated to create a dynamic platform that fosters dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in the global tech sphere.

DeepFest

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, DeepFest returns for its second iteration at LEAP 2024, in partnership with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA). With over 150 speakers and 120 exhibitors, DeepFest aims to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence (AI) and showcase the latest advancements in the field.

AI takes center stage

AI emerges as a central theme of LEAP 2024, reflecting its growing prominence in shaping the future of technology. The event will explore the foundations and breakthroughs of AI, as well as its achievements, applications, and impact. Additionally, discussions will delve into AI frontiers, innovations, and emerging technologies. They will also address ethical and sustainability considerations.

What’s happening at LEAP 2024?

LEAP 2024 is set to welcome more than 1,800 global tech exhibitors. This includes industry giants such as Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and Amazon Web Services. With representatives from leading companies, startups, investors, and thought leaders converging in Riyadh, the event promises to be a melting pot of innovation and opportunity.

“This edition arrives at a time when variables are accelerating, and generative artificial intelligence is a critical turning point at the economic and social levels. The event will feature 10 stages discussing various aspects of technology, including health, education, and e-commerce,” stated Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology, H.E. Eng. Haitham AlOhali.

Echoing this sentiment, Muteb Alqani, CEO of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, expressed eagerness to provide attendees with a unique and enriching experience at LEAP 2024. “This event has been created to empower technology globally; therefore, the upcoming edition brings together the largest tech companies, startups, and investors, all under one roof, which has the potential to lead to numerous investments and launches,” he stated.
