The third edition of the LEAP 2025 conference, scheduled to be held in Riyadh from February 9 to 12 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, will feature a diverse array of educational, cultural, and entertainment experiences for the first time. This program will run for a week, beginning Thursday and continuing until February 13, across various locations in Riyadh. LEAP Nights aims to enhance the experience of visitors to the Saudi capital, adding a unique touch to this pioneering tech event, which draws thousands of innovators and creators from around the globe. The initiative aspires to cultivate an inclusive environment that promotes collaboration and communication while showcasing the richness of authentic Saudi culture.

Immersive experiences in the Tech Arena

LEAP 2025, recognized as Saudi Arabia’s award-winning global technology event, is set to unveil a plethora of next-generation innovations from around the world. Entrepreneurs and startups will converge in Riyadh to present their products to an anticipated audience of over 170,000 visitors. The prototypes will be showcased within the inaugural Tech Arena, a groundbreaking ‘live TV’ platform designed to ignite curiosity, foster collaboration, and underscore the transformative potential of emerging technologies.

The fourth edition of LEAP carries the theme ‘The Future of Tech’. Within the Tech Arena, attendees will embark on an immersive journey exploring robotics, artificial intelligence, healthcare technologies, mixed reality, and prototypes that push existing boundaries. Visitors will be treated to live showcases and interactive experiences that vividly bring future technologies to life. Emerging talents will collaborate with major enterprises, including Aramco, L’Oreal, Adobe, Ericsson, Alwaleed Philanthropies, XAR Labs, Devoteam, and Engine VR inside the Tech Arena, highlighting the latest advancements in technology.

Co-organization and innovative features

LEAP 2025 is co-organized by Tahaluf and the Ministry for Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) – a joint venture involving Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), and the Events Investment Fund. This year’s event will introduce advanced features, including a new series of ‘LEAP Nights’ activities, the return of DeepFest, a dedicated Tech Arena, a SportsTech Track, and a commitment to hosting and enhancing innovation across various sectors such as space, gaming, education, and smart cities, across over 20 stages.

Attendees can immerse themselves in Riyadh’s vibrant cultural scene, featuring an exciting lineup of dinners, meetups, and live entertainment. LEAP Nights will provide participants with the ideal backdrop for networking, socializing, and soaking in the city’s atmosphere — all while forging new connections across the global tech community.

Tech heavyweights confirmed for LEAP 2025

Many prominent international figures are already confirmed for LEAP 2025, including Ken Kutaragi, the former chairman and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment — especially significant as PlayStation celebrated its 30th birthday on December 4; Javier Tebas, president of LA LIGA, Spain’s professional football league; Connie Chan, general partner of Andreessen Horowitz; Andrea Vena, chief climate and sustainability officer of the European Space Agency; and Alex Hirschi, chairwoman of Supercar Blondie. LEAP 2025 will also see the return of familiar guest speakers and global technology stalwarts, including Arvind Krishna, the chairman and CEO of IBM, who attended last year. Previous editions of LEAP have featured renowned tech specialists such as Eric Yuan, founder and CEO of Zoom Video Communications; Shou Chew, CEO of TikTok; and Mo Gawdat, former chief business officer of Google and a respected tech commentator.
