Under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Qatar is moving full speed ahead in its preparations to host the inaugural edition of MWC Doha, scheduled for 25–26 November 2025 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

Organized by the GSMA, the global body representing the mobile ecosystem, in partnership with Qatar’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), MWC25 Doha marks a historic milestone as the first-ever Mobile World Congress to be held in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The event positions Doha as a new global nexus for digital transformation dialogue and innovation exchange.

Global participation at MWC25 Doha

MWC25 Doha is set to attract delegations from around 60 countries, drawing a high-level audience of technology leaders, senior executives, investors, policymakers, and innovators, with an expected 40 percent of attendees at the director level or above.

The two-day event promises cutting-edge exhibitions, immersive networking spaces, and thought-leading panels delivered by hundreds of global speakers.

Confirmed exhibitors already include major technology players such as Mannai, Cisco, and Nokia, with more names to be announced.

Additionally, country pavilions from South Korea and Türkiye will showcase regional innovation. Ooredoo joins as a strategic partner, and Qatar University will serve as educational partner — a first in MWC history.

Bringing flagship features from MWC Barcelona, MWC25 Doha will include the globally recognized 4YFN (Four Years From Now) and the GSMA Ministerial Program.

4YFN is a premier platform for startups, linking founders with global investors to fuel future-forward innovations.

The GSMA Ministerial Program will convene regional and international policymakers, offering policy-driven sessions, closed-door discussions, and targeted networking to shape the MENA region’s digital future.

The program aims to foster regulatory cooperation and strategic alignment in areas such as AI, connectivity, and inclusive growth.

Agenda focused on the future: AI, connectivity, and intelligent economies

The event agenda will spotlight the intersection of emerging technologies and economic transformation, centered on three main themes:

  • AI Nexus – exploring the transformative role of AI in governance, business, and daily life
  • Intelligent economies – focusing on digital infrastructure, data sovereignty, and smart network deployment
  • Connected industries – examining how frontier technologies are revolutionizing sectors like energy, logistics, finance, and mobility

In addition, thematic summits will cover hot-button topics such as agentic AI, 5G and IoT, future fintech, smart mobility, satellite connectivity, and next-gen telecom networks.

These sessions will feature global experts, real-world case studies, and the latest policy frameworks driving the digital economy.
