New travel package options have been released by Qatar Airways for fans traveling to Doha to cheer on their team during the intercontinental play-offs this June.

The matches will feature four national teams competing in ‘winner-takes-all’ matches to determine the final two teams for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will take place in the Middle East region for the first time this November.

The games will feature four teams from different global football confederations. Australia or the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will face off with Peru on 13 June 2022, followed by Costa Rica versus New Zealand on 14 June 2022 for the final spots in the tournament.

The extended travel packages to Doha include round-trip flights with Qatar Airways, match tickets, and a minimum of two-nights accommodation. Fans have the option to book their hotel with Al Messila Luxury Collection, Hilton Al Rayyan Curio, or Holiday Inn Business.

Qatar Airways provided a detailed explanation of the booking method, which is to visit the company’s link and enter the preferred date in the search box (to be between June 6 and June 14, 2022).

The third step is to choose the preferred hotel accommodation and tickets, while the fourth step is to choose tickets to attend matches and teams, which are Australia, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Peru, and the UAE.

Upon completion of the payment process, a confirmation email will be sent to the fans with additional details on the booked tickets.

All international play-off matches will be held at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan, which houses 40,000 spectators.

In September 2021, Qatar Airways launched unique travel packages, inclusive of match tickets, return flights, and accommodation options.
