The State of Qatar and the Republic of Armenia have reached an agreement to strengthen collaboration in the labor sector and regulate the recruitment of skilled workers from Armenia.
Qatar’s Minister of Labor Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri signed the agreement on behalf of Qatar, while Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan represented Armenia, QNA reported.
This agreement is designed to support the Ministry of Labor’s initiative to attract skilled and qualified workers, boost their presence in the local market, enhance private sector productivity, and improve the overall work environment.
Under the terms of the agreement, both parties will facilitate the recruitment of skilled workers from Armenia to Qatar, ensuring the local market is equipped with the necessary skills to fill job vacancies in Qatar.
The signing of this agreement aligns with Qatar’s international cooperation strategy aimed at improving labor recruitment processes, streamlining procedures, safeguarding the rights of employers and workers, and enhancing the coordination of skilled labor recruitment through accredited agencies.
