The Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) has released more details about the upcoming F1 track in the city, which will host the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in the coming years.
Currently, the Grand Prix takes place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, which will continue to be the venue for the second round of the new F1 season until 2027. However, the Qiddiya Speed Park will replace it as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative.

The new track, known as the ‘Blade,’ will feature a 108-meter elevation difference across its 21 corners. It will also have three DRS zones and will include a 70-meter incline leading to the first corner, illuminated by LED lights. The design of the track is a collaboration between Hermann Tilke and former F1 driver Alex Wurz, aiming to combine the characteristics of both permanent and street circuits, offering multiple configurations.
Abdullah Aldawood, managing director of QIC, stated that the Speed Park Track will embody Qiddiya’s philosophy of the power of play and establish Qiddiya City as a prominent motorsport hub and one of the world’s premier motorsport venues. He further added that visitors and spectators can expect a unique and pioneering race experience on a track that will be ready to host major motorsport events.
Qiddiya City is one of several large-scale projects currently being developed in Saudi Arabia. It is situated just outside the capital city, Riyadh.
