Red Sea Global’s latest luxury resort Shebara to welcome first guests starting November 2024

In October 2024, Red Sea Global, the developer behind The Red Sea and AMAALA, revealed that Shebara, Saudi Arabia’s latest luxury resort and the fourth to debut at The Red Sea destination, will start welcoming guests in November 2024. Shebara aims to redefine the tourism experience by blending luxury, sustainability, and innovation. The resort boasts direct access to an exceptional marine environment, allowing guests to dive in some of the world’s most pristine and biodiverse waters.

Set against the stunning backdrop of The Red Sea, Shebara promises an experience that transcends the ordinary. With 73 overwater and beachfront villas that sparkle in the sunlight, guests are guaranteed a unique stay. The island features a remarkable 30- to 40-meter reef drop-off located conveniently close to the beach. Known for its distinctive stainless-steel orbs, Shebara will also be the first resort at The Red Sea that is both owned and operated by Red Sea Global.

In addition to its breathtaking surroundings, Shebara invites guests to indulge in luxury, offering premium amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center and exceptional dining crafted by world-class chefs, including Michelin-starred Chef Marco Garfagnini. Guests can also unwind in a nature-inspired spa sanctuary featuring five luxurious treatment rooms, all while enjoying the serene environment of sun, sea, and soft, white sand.

Emphasizing a commitment to sustainability, Shebara integrates its innovative architecture with the island’s natural landscape. The resort boasts its own solar farm along with a variety of utilities, showcasing Red Sea Global’s dedication as a responsible developer.

Shebara serves as a year-round destination with pleasantly cool summer temperatures. Situated 25 kilometers from the mainland, guests can easily reach the resort via a 30 to 40-minute boat ride or a 30-minute seaplane flight from Red Sea International Airport (RSI). This relative seclusion creates a peaceful haven for those seeking an extraordinary retreat into nature and wellness. Moreover, RSI is conveniently located within three hours’ flight of 250 million people and within eight hours’ flight of 8 percent of the global population.
