Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new airline, has announced a technology partnership with Adobe, a global leader in digital experience solutions. The collaboration aims to redefine the travel experience by integrating Adobe’s Experience Cloud technologies into the airline’s digital ecosystem. As the lead systems integrator, IBM Consulting will work alongside Adobe to implement innovative solutions that promise to deliver seamless, personalized experiences for Riyadh Air’s guests.

Shaping the future of travel

With plans to commence operations in 2025, Riyadh Air will become a transformative force in the aviation industry. The airline aims to connect the Kingdom to more than 100 destinations around the world. Moreover, it supports both the National Aviation Strategy’s and National Tourism Strategy. Saudi Arabia aims to attract 330 million annual visitors by 2030.

“Through our strategic partnership with Adobe, we will be able to create incredible, personalized experiences for our guests at every stage and every moment of their journey, from planning their trips towards booking and boarding their flight and towards the arrival destination across the world,” said Adam Boukadida, CFO at Riyadh Air.

Leveraging Generative AI

Riyadh Air’s vision is to leverage Adobe’s Experience Cloud and generative AI to redefine digital experiences in the travel industry. By harnessing Adobe Sensei GenAI capabilities, the airline will craft on-brand copy for personalized campaigns at scale. This ensures real-time insights that drive meaningful interactions across preferred communication channels.

Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (CDP) will play a critical role in delivering highly personalized experiences to customers. It will manage Riyadh Air’s first-party customer data and combine it with data from its partners to create a unified view of each customer. Depending on this unified profile, Riyadh Air will be able to use other applications and services within Experience Cloud and Adobe Firefly to deliver personalized experiences, powered by generative AI and machine learning.
