Riyadh is set to host the third edition of the Real Estate Future Forum from January 22 to 24, bringing together 300 speakers from 85 countries. The forum will spotlight emerging trends, innovations, and sustainable solutions. Under the patronage of H.E. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, the event will explore sectoral developments, major challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of real estate.
Exploring developments and challenges
The Real Estate Future Forum’s agenda includes 25 workshops and 30 sessions, addressing pressing industry issues and emerging trends. Participants will engage in discussions on financing and the impact of natural factors on the sector. Moreover, it will tackle the influence of governmental strategies on property sector growth and sustainability.
A significant focus of the Real Estate Future Forum will be on the impact of technology on real estate. The discussions will emphasize technological advancements and their influence on urban architectural creativity. As the world witnesses a digital transformation, the forum will focus on how technology is reshaping the real estate industry.
Moreover, the Real Estate Future Forum seeks to explore innovations that will accelerate overall sector growth with its global and local partners. The conference aims to broaden participation by involving numerous regional and international companies and institutions.
With the support of Minister Al-Hogail, the forum anticipates the signing of numerous bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding. These agreements are expected to span various facets of the real estate industry. Moreover, they will reflect a comprehensive approach to collaboration and development within the sector.
Following the success of the second edition, which saw agreements exceeding SAR10 billion ($2.66 billion), the Real Estate Future Forum aims to achieve new milestones. The agreements in the previous edition covered real estate development, building technologies, and construction of housing units. Agreements also included the establishment of real estate funds and the provision of advisory and administrative services.
Global construction hub
The upcoming forum takes place against the backdrop of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious real estate projects. In September 2023, the kingdom unveiled projects exceeding SAR65 billion at the Cityscape Global exhibition. This solidifies its position as one of the world’s largest construction hubs. With over $1.25 trillion of investments in infrastructure and real estate projects, Saudi Arabia is poised for remarkable growth in the sector.
As the Real Estate Future Forum in Riyadh approaches, industry leaders, experts, and visionaries are gearing up to explore and shape the future of the real estate sector. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and collaborative development, the forum seeks to contribute significantly to the global real estate landscape.
