Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, recently met with Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel Abdulhadi Al-Wazir, at the ministry’s headquarters.
The two ministers discussed ways to enhance industrial integration between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Saudi Arabia, Egypt seek stronger cooperation in key industrial sectors
The meeting affirmed the strength of strategic relations between the two brotherly countries at all levels and the depth of bilateral economic ties in various vital sectors, most notably the industrial sector. The ministers also highlighted the importance of enhancing joint cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Egypt in strategic industrial sectors of common interest, reflecting the aspirations of the leadership and peoples of the two countries.
The meeting reviewed progress made in industrial integration between the two countries, the efforts of the joint technical teams from both sides in developing industrial cooperation and integration, and the importance of addressing the challenges facing exporters and investors in the two brotherly countries.

Leaders review plans for Supreme Coordination Council session
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the first meeting of the General Secretariat of the Saudi-Egyptian Supreme Coordination Council in Riyadh. Advisor at the Royal Court and Secretary General of the Saudi-Egyptian Supreme Coordination Council, Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, and Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir, co-chaired the meeting.
At the outset of the meeting, Al-Tuwaijri welcomed Lieutenant General Al-Wazir and his accompanying delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing them a pleasant stay.
The two sides discussed shared visions for the strategic relationship between Saudi Arabia and Egypt and explored ways to further develop it. They also reviewed joint plans in preparation for the upcoming session of the Supreme Coordination Council, which His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, will co-chair.
The two sides affirmed their keenness to strengthen bilateral relations in a way that meets the aspirations of the leadership and peoples of both countries and advances relations toward broader horizons. They also emphasized that the council serves as the main platform for coordinating efforts across all fields. The meeting was attended by several officials from both sides.
On Thursday, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud welcomed the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, upon his arrival in NEOM.
